my rat id about 4 weeks old and i would like to know when i can start to train her and stuff? i don't even know if i should wait or not so please help ;)How old do pet rats need to be before you start training them?
You can start training a rat at a young age. Usually younger animals pick things up faster. It might take a little longer to get her to learn things at such a young age. She is likely to get easily distracted. Think about how hard it is to keep a 2-3 year old human focused on one thing...
Here's some sites that can help you with regards to training:

http://www.theagilerat.com/ - this one is cool, they teach you how to train your rat to do mini agility courses
Hope that helps! How old do pet rats need to be before you start training them?
You can start to train her right away.
But you shouldnt have her yet if she is only 4 weeks old!
Baby rats shouldnt be taken from thier mother until 5 or 6 weeks old.
If you take a baby rat away from its mother too soon, then it can have health issues later in life because it didnt get all the anti-bodies that it needs from its mothers milk.
So i would give your baby rat the essential vitamins and minerals it needs every day. They have it in liquid form, and you can put it in her waterbottle and he'll have to 'take his vitamins'. (since they dont really like the smell of it) Heres the link to what i am talking about:
