How do you get rid of RATS in a building?

I'm trying to get rid of these rats that have been nesting under the floor, but we can't reach them. Is there a natural remedy to get rid of them? How do you get rid of RATS in a building?
Try poison, there are kinds sold now, so they won't smell when they die.How do you get rid of RATS in a building?
hmmmm

Try rat poison or rat traps.

They should work for sure.
DECON!!! place it were u think they are entering or exiting.place it there and they will eat it, and die!! except u might get a dead rat smell when they start to rot. u could use a rat trap too. U choose!
I used to own pet rats and when they die they stink. Poison is a horrible idea because when they consume the poison they will most likely run back into their hole and die there. That will stink really bad in your walls and you will have to rip through to remove them. They make high-pitched noise devices that humans can not hear but rats eventually learn to live with and ignore the noise. You must keep all your food locked tight so that they will not live off your pantry. Be certain to block off all holes that they could enter into the building. Add traps using peanut butter because the smell is stronger than cheese and harder for them to make off with. I have seen people use large water filled tubs with a thin rope/string across the top with food dangling above. The rat climbs out to the middle of the tub reaching for the food, loses balance and falls into the tub to drown. I am unsure how to properly build one but they get the job done.
Have you tried those ultrasonic rodent repelant devices? It's the rodent version of a loud rock concert blasting in their ears 24/7. If all else fails, call an exterminator, who will have a special tool to get under the floor to gas those varmints.
Glue traps are the best method to trap rats and mice.

I found detailed information at http://www.pests.in
Ah, rats. Rats have been around for tens of thousands of years, and they are not going anywhere - except where there is food, water and warmth.

Rats are very tenacious; they can live on very little food and in horrible conditions, and they breed so fast that it is almost impossible to get rid of them in one apartment - you need to exterminate the whole building, which is very difficult and expensive.

To prevent rats from calling your home home, make sure that there are no sources of water (this includes condensation on pipes, ie under your sinks), and block all holes no matter how tiny with steel wool. You will want to keep all your food in glass or metal containers - or in the refrigerator or freezer. Rats can gnaw through plastic in no time at all.

You can use a poison called Warfarin, which causes the rats to die a very unpleasant death... but don't use it if you have pets or children that might mistakenly eat it. It is available at any hardware store.

Me, I have a pet rat whom I am very fond of but I do know that ';wild'; rats are a pain in the neck and can be dangerous. Good luck with the extermination.
get urself a gun
